WPE staff and their families at the 2016 Black Hills Energy Walk for Warmth
West Plains Engineering was proud to sponsor the 5th annual Black Hills Energy Walk for Warmth on Saturday, Feb. 6 in Rapid City, SD. The event raises nearly $20,000 annually to provide energy assistance to local households in need to help stay warm in the winter. Recently, need has dramatically increased by nearly 43% in the Black Hills, making this fundraiser more important than ever. With sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-50s, WPE staff and their families enjoyed a beautiful stroll through downtown Rapid City for a great cause.
