In nearly all sports, the ability to see well – both for players and fans – is critical.

After all – everyone has seen the highlight reels replaying the gut-wrenching moment an athlete squandered a winning play because he or she “lost it in the lights”.

 In this Strategic Direction Report, we’ll discuss sports venue lighting specifically to address both playability and spectator enjoyment. While there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to sports lighting, in this article we’ll unveil several consistent themes that must be considered to some degree in all venues.
