Hospital Photovoltaic Solar Arrays | Pine Ridge & Rosebud, SD

Indian Health Services added photovoltaic solar arrays to its hospitals in Pine Ridge and Rosebud, SD.

In Pine Ridge, the design-build team provided a new 60 kW, ground-mounted, 2-axis tracking PV array. The team developed drawings showing the installation of the PV array and interconnection to the Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) electrical grid, and coordinated with NPPD to provide protective relays, switches, transformers, metering, etc. to make the tie into their electrical grid.

The Rosebud facility received a 75 kW, ground-mounted, 2-axis tracking PV array, this time interconnecting to the Cherry Todd Creek grid.
