City of Rapid City

Horace Mann Aquatic Center | Rapid City, SD

The Horace Mann Aquatic Center is a local summer-time hotspot in Rapid City, SD. Unfortunately, the existing 50-meter pool had reached the end of its useful life and was in need of improvements. But instead of simply replacing the existing space one-for-one, the City invested in a whole host of new features and amenities much to the delight of the community.

The project upgraded the facility to a new 200,000-gallon outdoor aquatic center featuring a lap pool, recreation pool with zero entry, vortex swirl zone and play feature, and a waterslide tower.
