Electrical Engineer Jonathan Kennedy, P.E. has been named head of the Electrical Department in our Sioux Falls office. In this role, he will be critical in the development and delivery of West Plains Engineering’s electrical engineering services, as well as help mentor staff, support leadership and establish client relationships.
Jonathan joined West Plains Engineering in 2017 after working as a consulting engineer in the Sioux Falls area for 13 years. He has quickly become a leader and asset to the firm, managing more than two dozen projects and supporting clients such as South Dakota State University, Sanford Health and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Notably, he is currently the project manager for the new $35 million Russell-Tyler-Rutherton K-12 School in Tyler, MN, which is scheduled for construction next year.
