The Pioneer Bank space in Dakota Dunes, SD was recently recognized with an AIA Central States Design Excellence Merit Award. The Central States Region consists of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
Designed by PLaN Architecture, this project involved renovations to an existing shell space for a new Pioneer Bank branch. Approximately 4,500 square feet of changes took place to the one-story building, as well as the addition of a two-bay drive-up canopy. All HVAC for the building was revised and served from the existing equipment. The ductwork also changed to accommodate a new exposed ceiling design concept.
