Memorial Park Promenade | Rapid City, SD

Part of Rapid City’s Downtown Revitalization efforts focused on improving the outdoor space between the downtown corridor and The Monument. Through a series of upgrades, including street signalization, parks and walkways, leaders adapted the space, which now accommodates pedestrian, tourist and family needs in an inviting and positive way.

In 2012, our electrical team worked on an important part of this adaptation – promenade lighting between the Civic Center and Omaha Street. Decorative lights for the walkway, trees and flag poles now follow a beautifully landscaped path that creates both a welcome ambiance – and safety.
