Security First Bank & Trust moved its operations to the growing commercial area in south Rapid City.  The company’s modern new office building includes a basement and three floors above grade, with the second floor featuring a green roof.

The HVAC system is based on an energy-saving geothermal well field heat exchanger system with heat pumps and ERV’s providing building heating and cooling. 

The project also provided for the integration of a solar panel system to supplement the electrical system to offset energy costs.
