The Sioux Falls office was up before the sun on Oct. 17 to serve breakfast at The Banquet, a meal ministry where all meals are paid for, prepared by and served by community volunteer groups. WPE joined partners from Koch Hazard, Sayre Associates and SEA to serve more than 225 helpings of eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit and beverages to adults and children in need.
The Banquet was founded in 1985 and serves 13 meals per week at two locations in Sioux Falls. In 2017, they served 196,000 meals, at least 25,000 of which were served to children.
